Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using ProofBench (the "Service", at proofben.ch), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

ProofBench lets you build and publish test ("fake-door") landing pages to gauge interest in an idea, collect email sign-ups, and measure views and clicks.

3. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and don't share your access with anyone you don't trust.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • deceive visitors for fraud, phish for credentials, or collect emails under false pretenses;
  • publish malware, spam, or illegal or harmful content;
  • abuse, overload, or attempt to breach the Service or its infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for the content of your proof pages and for how you use the emails your pages collect, including compliance with applicable privacy and anti-spam laws (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

5. Payments and refunds

Building is free; publishing requires a paid plan. Plans are one-time payments (not subscriptions), handled by Stripe. If you receive a refund or your payment is reversed, the associated plan access is revoked.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and display it as part of running the Service.

7. Availability & “as is”

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProofBench is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
